Mindfulness is a way of being in the present moment.  But what does it really mean to be in the present moment?


Psychotherapy can help you begin to sort that out.  Its a great tool for figuring out where your mind typically spends most of its time, and how your feelings get dragged along for the ride.


If your mind is focused on the past, the feelings that follow are depression, and if your mind is focused on the future, the feelings that follow are anxiety.  


Mindfulness based psychotherapy works to get you back to the only place that actually exists.  The present moment.
